What a weekend for Peninsula Floorball Club at NBO! Across all four of our teams and our players playing other club teams, players gave everything on the court, and we’re coming home with a championship title and plenty to be proud of.

Development – Champions! 🏆
Our Development squad took out the championship with a first-place finish. A huge congratulations to every player for their hard work, teamwork and composure throughout the tournament. This result is a fantastic reflection of the club’s growing depth, and a sign of exciting things to come.

Women – So Close
Our women’s team came agonisingly close to the top spot, going down 0–1 in a real nail-biter. It was a tight, hard-fought contest that could have gone either way, and the team should be incredibly proud of their effort and defensive grit all weekend. That first place has their name on it next time.

Men – Finishing Strong
The men wrapped up their tournament on a high, closing out with a win over Newcastle. A great way to end the campaign, and a performance the team can build on heading into the next competition.

Juniors – Learning and Having Fun
Our juniors had a fantastic time on court, and it was great to see their enthusiasm all weekend. Up against some fast-paced, experienced out-of-state clubs, they found the going tough, but every game was a chance to learn and they’ll be stronger for the experience. Well done to all our young players for giving it their all!

A big thank you to our coaches, volunteers, families and supporters who travelled, cheered and helped make the weekend possible. Go Peninsula! 💪
